Dear members and attenders,
We are writing to let you know that one of our regular attenders to Wednesday night and Sunday morning has tested positive for COVID-19 and will be in quarantine. We ask that you keep this member and anyone else affected by COVID-19 in your prayers. Please also remember that places of worship are a crucial source of strength, community and solace for many and as such we will continue to have services as scheduled.
Please take this opportunity to review the Texas Health and Human Services guidelines regarding COVID-19 prevention at church services (LINK), here are the high points:
Wash/disinfect your hands upon entering.
If you are part of the “at-risk” population, please stay home.
If you are sick or do not feel well, please stay home.
Make sure you are symptom free for at least 72 hours before going out in public.
If you have been in “close contact” with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 you should self quarantine for 14-days (note, while it is the infected person’s responsibility to notify you, we have informed those who had contact with the individual in question while at church).
Minimize contact with others, keep two empty seats between yourselves and other parties, also, every other row should be empty (we will block these off).
After service, please do not linger as we will be disinfecting the sanctuary.
For those that stay home, please make sure to participate in our services online. https://pibc.church/live (YouTube) and https://fb.me/pibc.church (FaceBook).
Thank you for your understanding.
