Prayers for the Wren Family

Aubrey Wren, age 79 of Hempstead, passed away on November 30, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents T. W. Wren Sr. and wife Frankie; granddaughter Ann Marie Connor; brother Ted Wesley Wren Jr. He is survived by wife Barbara Wren; daughter Brenda Gayle Wren Gomez; sisters Linda Wren, Sue Herrington and husband Mark; grandson Shane Brewster; two great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Aubrey was a long-standing member and Past Master of the Hempstead Masonic Lodge.

Kent Eugene Edwards

Kent Eugene Edwards, 77, passed away October 24, 2018. He was born June 8, 1941 in Duncan, OK and worked as an LVN in the psychiatric center of Methodist Hospital for 15 years. Kent enlisted in the army and served his county during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1966. He had a passion for horses and show dogs. He was a member of Richmond Plaza Baptist Church at age 13 and currently was a member of Pine Island Baptist Church in Pine Island, TX. Kent is preceded in death by his father, Roy Edwards and mother Jewel (Campbell) Edwards.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet St.

A graveside service will be held 1:30 PM, Monday, October 29, 2018 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Pine Island Baptist Church in Kent's memory. He loved God and his country.

Barbara Gene Gibbs

February 13, 1935 - September 24, 2017

Please pray for the family of Barbara Gibbs. It is with a sad heart that we share the news of her passing. Barbara fell asleep at home and woke up in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
