Service will start at 11a like normal.

If you’d like to bring a card or small gift for our graduates, they will each have a table set up outside. To learn a little more about our graduates click the button below.

A few more details about our outdoor Mother’s Day Service:

  • The service will be held on the east side of the church & parking will be on the west side.

  • Bring your chairs and blankets to sit on (bring an easy up for shade, if you’d like), you can set up a space for your family in the parking area or on the grass.

  • The service will be streamed in the Fellowship Hall and will be available for our more seasoned attenders, if they would like.

  • Please remember to observe social distancing as we will be together and not in vehicles.

Easter Drive-in Church - April 12th @ 2pm

200412 Easter Announcement.png

Come join us for Easter Services

In order to comply with State and County orders related to COVID-19, we will be having our Easter services Drive-in style.

We will have speakers outside, however, it may be difficult for everyone to hear. Therefore, we will also be broadcasting the service using an FM transmitter, so you will be able to pickup the audio on your car radio (we will post the FM frequency). We will have parking attendants to help us get as many cars as possible into the lot, note you must park on the West side of the church to attend.

We understand that it has been awhile since you have seen your church family, but to help us with social distancing and the 6 foot rule, we ask that you stay in your cars. Please pass the word to others, especially those who may not have access to email or social media.

From the Pastor

banner.png

To my church family,

I am writing today to inform you of the love and care I have for each and every one of you here at PIBC. I want to encourage you to hold strong to the promises of God:

  1. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5)

  2. He will watch over you at all times and in all situations (Psalm 121)

  3. He is the source of our hope (Psalm 31:24)

  4. He is our strength (Psalm 46:1)

  5. He is our guide (Psalm 32:8)

  6. He is not surprised by what is happening (Isaiah 41:9-10)

To the elderly and sick in our congregation, I want to offer you some extra hope. If you need any assistance with groceries or other items from the store, please contact us at the office (979-826-2016). We know that this virus hits the elderly of the population really hard so we want to make sure you have everything you need without having to leave home.

I ask that you continue to pray for our Nation, our churches and each other. We plan to have services next Sunday and hopefully the following Wednesday (3-25-2020). If you can’t attend due to illness or you are worried about exposure you can watch us live on Sunday mornings.

In Christ,

Bro. Tom

Church Services at PIBC

banner-interior2.png

In furtherance of our notice on coronavirus, we ask you to be mindful of the following while at PIBC:

  • Refrain from close contact, a smile is better than a handshake or a hug.

  • Wash your hands coming in and leaving the premises.

  • We will not pass the offering plate but will setup a receptacle in the foyer, or better yet you should be giving online (pibc.church/giving).

  • If you or a family member are not feeling well, stay home… watch online.

  • Remember to sign up to get announcements via email at pibc.church/subscribe.

PIBC Statement on coronavirus

banner-interior2.png

A statement from PIBC leadership on the coronavirus:

In light of recent developments with the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the greater Houston area, we wanted to update you on the status of PIBC. We have been monitoring the evolving situation with the virus and as always we believe that prayer, precaution and preparation are the order of the day.

As you have likely heard, RodeoHouston has been canceled and the number of confirmed cases in Harris and surrounding counties continues to increase. At this time, State and County officials are not recommending the cancelation of public events or church gatherings. PIBC will remain open and we will continue to have regular Wednesday night and Sunday morning services along with other church supported events.

We will continue to keep you appraised of PIBC’s status through our website (pibc.church), social media and email. Please remember to keep those effected in your prayers. In the meantime, we have attached information and links to various resources that may assist you.

PIBC online resources:

  • Email – subscribe to get announcements via email at pibc.church/subscribe

  • Sermons – if you or a family member is not feeling well and prefer to stay home, Sunday sermon audio and video is available at pibc.church/sermons within 4 hours of the end of service (note, we will be live streaming starting this Sunday on YouTube and Facebook, see links below)

  • Giving – We sincerely appreciate your commitment to tithing in accordance with the Bible, however, money is a carrier for germs. The PIBC staff would be grateful if you would consider setting up your regular giving online at pibc.church/giving instead of using the offering plate.

  • Social media:

  • Support - In case you run into any technical difficulties, you can email the support desk at support@pibc.freshdesk.com
